91 Broad St

Following a fire in 1925, this building opened as Peoples Furniture Co and housed a series of furniture stores from the 1930s through the 1980s. After a period of vacancy and short-term tenants, the building reopened as The Palace nightclub in the late 1990s. Nightclubs such as Trademark and Cafe@91 operated here until 2012 when the building became vacant again.

In July 2013, building was home to “No Vacancy: A Necessary Void” orchestrated by Dashboard Co-op involving  artists Ben Coleman and Henry Detweiler.

In October 2013, a mural entitled “Lost and Found” was painted on the building’s facade by Sarah Emerson as part of Elevate.

The building is currently occupied by The Mammal Gallery.
